Soil Retention Systems
Whether it is a support of excavation for a custom residential house, or a sheeting coefferdam for construction of a high rise building foundation, our experience is broad-based. The Soil Retention systems are installed by either drilled methods or driven forces. In each case, HMC's equipment fleet provides the necessary support for excavation on all underground projects. Past completed soil support projects have included steel sheeting, and solider pile and lagging combined with bracing, tie-backs or cantilevering depending on the scope and soil conditions of the project.
Piling Systems
From Bearing Piles to Friction Piles, HMC has provided pile systems for bridges, buildings and other structures for nearly 100 years. These foundation projects have utilized steel pipe pile filled with concrete as well as H-Piles and timber piles ranging in various shapes and sizes, driven to different depths in various soil conditions.
